Post-Delivery and Mother-Baby Care

Emotional Well-being and Companionship for New Mothers

A steady, non-judgemental presence through a demanding emotional phase.

A caregiver gently holding a mother's hands in quiet support

The emotional weight of early motherhood is rarely discussed at home, and isolation makes everything heavier. This service is simply a trained, familiar adult present through the day: someone to talk to during long feeds, someone who normalises the mood swings and tearfulness of the first weeks, and someone who does not turn every worry into criticism.

It suits mothers recovering far from their own family, mothers whose partners return to work early, mothers after a difficult delivery or NICU stay, and anyone who simply does not want to spend twelve hours a day alone with a newborn.

Day to day this looks unremarkable and matters a great deal — conversation, a short assisted walk, help protecting a nap, keeping visitors from overwhelming her, and gently involving the family in tasks she should not be carrying alone.

Trayi's caregivers are briefed to notice, not diagnose. Persistent hopelessness, inability to sleep even when the baby sleeps, loss of interest in the baby or any thought of self-harm is raised with the family the same day and pointed towards a doctor or counsellor — we support well-being, we do not replace mental health care.
